Limbs & Brush for Fire Training
Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue accepts limbs and brush from residents for use in our wildland fire training. The limbs and brush are placed in windrows on our training ground south of the fire station.
When bringing limbs and brush to the fire station you must have your load inspected before dumping it. Stop by the front office during the week or ring the door ball in the main entryway on the weekends to have a firefighter come out to inspect the load. Materials we accept include tree limbs and brush. We cannot accept pre-made lawn or turf, trees over six (6) inches in diameter, tree stumps, and garbage or other non-combustible materials. Once your load has been inspected and approved for dumping the firefighter will direct you where on the training ground to place it.
This service is free t othe public and it benefits Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue training classes by providing live wildland fire training. If you have any questions or would like to find out if we are accepting limbs and brush call 541-923-6776.
