Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue and Your Care have teamed up to host two flu shot clinics at the Crooked River Ranch Fire Station. The public can drop by the fire station during these clinic hours to receive a vaccination; no appointment necessary.

Two flu vaccines will be available; a basic vaccine and a high dose vaccine (for people over 65). Vaccines are available to anyone over the age of 4.

Flu shots are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicare Part B, however, patients should contact their insurance carrier prior to attending one of the clinics for verification. For individuals not covered by medical insurance, the cost for the basic vaccine is $20.00 and $50.00 for the high dose vaccine.

In addition, there will also be Tetanus and TDAP vaccines available for anyone needing or wanting them. Prices for these vaccines vary depending on insurance coverage.

To expedite the screening and billing process make sure you bring your insurance card and photo ID with you when you get your flu shot.
