Hiring: Seasonal Firefighters

Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue is seeking to hire seasonal, part time, Firefighter/EMTs or Firefighter/Paramedics. The purpose of this hiring is to supplement the current staff and volunteers during the summer months when our call volume is at its peak. It is anticipated that employment will begin in June and would continue until mid-September of 2024.

Salary

Firefighter/EMT - $15.25/hour
Firefighter/Paramedic - $18.54/hour

Schedule

24-hour shifts (part-time is defined as less than 40 hours per week)

Job Specifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

18 years of age
High school graduate or equivalent
Valid driver's license
NFPA Firefighter I
Wildland Firefirefighter Type II
Oregon EMT license ro higher
NFPA Driver or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

NFPA Pumper Operator, Wildland Fire Apparatus Operator, and/or Mobile Water Supply Operator
Oregon Paramedic license
Two (2) years firefighting and emergency medical services experience
