BLM Chipping Piles

The Prineville BLM, working with the Heart of Oregon Corp (HOC) crew will be chipping the piles that were not burned this last winter. Chipping will start on April15th, and go through May 24th. The area of this project is in the old fire scar off NW Quail Road, and is roughly 91 acres. The piles that are next to NW Quail Road will be chipped and transported to the Lion Club Limb Dump. The interior piles will be chipped and scattered.  Signage will be posted on both sides of the operations when crews are on the roads and trails.
